If you have ever started a business, you know how valuable it is to have entrepreneur friends who are going through similar obstacles and milestones. I met Jenni Craig while working together for a university in marketing. She was opening Copper Bottom Craft Distillery in Holly Hill at the same time I had launched Idea Dinners. Because every good dinner party needs a cocktail hour, Jenni and I formed a friendship that led to many creative event collaborations that helped our own ventures grow. Today we are discussing the importance of having a creative outlet, the value of obstacles for bringing creative solutions to life and giving yourself permission to fail.
Jenni is the Director of Sports Marketing at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach and the co-owner & co-founder and CMO at Copper Bottom Craft Distillery in Holly Hill with her husband, Jeremy. She's the mother of two daughters, Carmen and Mason. In 2016 Jenni was awarded the Volusia/Flagler Business Report's Woman in Business winner and the area's 40 under 40.
You can find her at thedistillerswife.com sharing behind the scenes stories about running a distillery with her husband Jeremy.
